Decree No. 14, of December 4, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regulates inspections related to taxi services, tourist taxis, private individual paid passenger transport using apps, school transport, urban public passenger transport, and provides other measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Secretary of Urban Mobility of the Municipality of Cabedelo\/PB, in
using its legal powers, pursuant to Law No. 2,049\/2019, in compliance with the Code of
Brazilian Traffic and Municipal Laws No. 1,351\/2007, No. 1,462\/2009 and No. 2,083\/2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHEREAS Federal Law No. 9,503, of September 23, 1997 \u2013 Traffic Code
Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB) guides, regulates, and standardizes safety, presentation, and technical matters.

Considering the Municipality's competence within its jurisdiction to inspect
Vehicles that require special authorization to circulate, as stipulated in Article 24, XXI.

passenger transport services available in the Municipality of Cabedelo\/PB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering the need to issue regulatory instruments for the regulation of

RESOLVE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Article 1. Periodic inspections will be carried out on public and private transport vehicles.

Article 2. The authorized\/permitted operators of the Individual Passenger Transportation Service
(Taxis), including those belonging to the "Taxi Tourism" program, must undergo annual inspection.,
in accordance with the provisions of articles 8, \u00a7 2, and 17 of Law No. 1,351\/2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Article 3. The authorized\/permitted operators of school transport must carry out inspections every
180 days, in the months of January and July, in accordance with the provisions of articles 39, V; 48 and 52 of the Law
No. 1.351\/2007.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sole Paragraph. Vehicles less than 2 years old from the date of first registration are exempt from inspection.
